IHC 2020 is held by the Brazilian Computer Society - SBC. SBC is a non-profit civil association that encourages technological and scientific development in Brazil and is the largest computing society in South America.
The values for registration in IHC 2020 can be seen in the table below. There are 5 (five) categories available for registration. Membership categories are only available to participants who correctly enter their SBC membership number and are current with the annuity. SBC offers promotional fees to non-members who wish to include in the annual membership. To check out the benefits, visit the site.

Checking the Chosen Category: At the time of registration in the ECOS system, it will be required for categories that need some type of proof, the upload that certifies the chosen category. The verification of this document may take up to one business day. Therefore, we suggest that, to avoid any inconvenience, do not leave this for the last day of the registration interval. Only after validation by the SBC team, payment methods will be released. The registrant will receive informative emails at all stages of the evolution of his/her registration at IHC 2020.
Short Courses: fees are in addition to the event registration and one can register while there are vacancies left.
Registration for authors: for accepted papers, in any track, at least one author must register, in any registration category, until Sep 20, 2020. ATTENTION: Specifically, in the case of papers accepted on the \“Full Papers\” and \“Insightful Ideas and Emerging Results in HCI\” tracks, they will be published in the annals of the event conditioned by the registration of at least one of the authors in the "Professional" category. When there is not a paid registration in the "Professional" category, at least 1 (one) author must pay the additional publication fee on top of his/her current registration.
Extra Publication: authors with more than one on the “Full Papers” and “Insightful Ideas and Emerging Results in HCI” tracks must pay the publication fee for the ACM proceedings, for each additional paper, until Sep 20, 2020.
Payment Methods: The payment can be made through credit card or direct debit to Banco do Brasil through the registration system. Registrations are allowed until the last day of the event, but direct debits are available until Oct 21, 2020. After that, only credit card, commitment note and billing payments are possible.
Cancellation policy: The refund request deadline is Oct 10, 2020 and the maximum amount to be refunded will be 80%, where the remaining 20% will be used to cover the administrative costs of registration. After this date there will be no refund of any amount paid. The policy applies to the cancellation of registration or any other additional activity.
